What is a Home Page? Your home page (sometimes called start page) can be anything you want it to be! It is the web page or web site that you always start out on when you get on the internet. It does not have to be the "home page" of your internet service provider (ISP). Very often people use portal web sites as their home page such as Yahoo, Excite, Netscape, MSN. It can be anything you want it to be and you can change it at any time.
Here are some tips for Setting Your Home Page
Internet Explorer
1) Go to the page you want to appear when you first start Internet Explorer.
2) On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3) Click the General tab.
4) Under Home page, click Use Current.
5) Click the Apply and then Ok button at the bottom to save these changes.
Netscape
1) Open the page that you want to use as your home page.
2) From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
3) On the left side click Navigator.
4) On the right side click the button labeled Use Current Page to select the current page as your home page.
5) Click the Ok button to save these changes.
